New things in 2008

I am very happy with the way 2008 is coming together for a lot of different
fields in the cosmetic industry, in particular for my little corner of the world (San Diego).
The ease of using the internet has made it possible to have a lot of different specialties working together to refer to one another and make life easy for our customers, and this gives our customers the chance enhance their beauty without having to look to hard as to where to go.

Excellent "word of mouth" is still very important, but the Internet just makes things so much easier to reach out to people who are seeking the right people and right service to enhance their beauty. For example, if someone who just had their hair done is looking for a strong recommendation to have their eyes, their skin or nails done. Cosmetic surgeons can connect and link with estheticians they know and trust, makeup schools can reach out to new and interested students, and professional makeup artists can look and find the equipment they need to offer high quality service. And most importantly for the community I live in and work in, a location that is bilingual and feels very professional and comfortable at the same time. And now in 2008 I tie it all in together into one wonderful service center (minus the cosmetic surgery!) at my local shop. Hair-Addictions.com is coming an it will be online.
